Maldon RFC are looking for amatuer players to join them from overseas. If you are

Maldon is a small town in the rural east coast of Essex about forty miles from London.
Maldon play rugby in the Essex 1 league which is in level 9 on the RFU league structure,
i.e. eight leagues below the Premiership, and play teams from around Essex and east
London. We are currently running two teams but are hoping to reinstate our
3rd XV this season. Our 2nd XV also play competitive rugby in division 4 of
the Essex merit tables.
We take our rugby seriously but also believe the social side of rugby is as important
and we all enjoy a drink in the bar after a game and also hold social events on
a roughly monthly basis.
Our club has good facilities including a club house adjacent to our pitches with
bar and food available. Training is every Tuesday and Thursday night at 7pm
and we play our matches on a Saturday afternoon. The youth section train and
play on Sunday mornings and we are currently getting about 150 youngsters down each
week.
We are looking for overseas players to come and play for us and perhaps help out with coaching the youth players at the club or at local schools to encourage more
people in the area to play. We may be able to help arrange accommodation and
work.
