Maldon RFC Senior Tour 2010

Friday 30th April 2010 to Tuesday 4th May 2010

We are planning to tour to Newcastle this season rather than going abroad in an attempt to attract more tourists

We will be travelling up by train on an open return and although the main tour party will be going from Friday to Tuesday shorters trips are possible as the train ticket is an open return

The cost for the full trip is going to be around £270 which is much cheaper than previous years. For people who wish to come for less than four nights the cost will be cheaper still

As usual there will be a fancy dress night, matches on the Saturday and Sunday and a free day on Monday

Deposits of £100 are now being accepted which will secure your place. Cheques should be made payable to

Senior Player Annual Subscriptions Overdue!!

Senior Player Annual Subscriptions were due on 1st September 2009

We have only had a handfull of subscriptions in

Annual subscriptions are £65 with £30 for concessions

Women's Rugby
Last year saw the first season of women’s rugby at Maldon RFC. As we are only just forming, last year was all about learning the game, getting to know each other as a team and most of all having fun.

We are still lookning for new players and the team is open to all abilities. Whether you have played before or are totally new to the game, if you are enthusiastic and willing to give it a go, we will welcome you. You must be 18 or over to join the team and there is no upper age limit! If you are under 18 and keen to play then please get in contact and you can join one of our youth teams.

All our matches this year will be friendly fixtures only so there is no pressure. It’s all about learning and enjoying the game. We aim to play at least 8 matches this year and then join an RFUW league next season.

Training will be on Monday evenings and matches played on Sundays. If you are unable to play but would like to be involved with the club we welcome social members too.

The 200 Club
The 200 Club enables members to make a contribution to Maldon Rugby whilst giving them an opportunity to win substantial cash prizes in each monthly draw.

Draws take place on the second weekend monthly with prizes totalling up to £300 and in June and December a first prize up to £1,000, a second prize up to £400, and a third prize up to £100*
